ODD DOWN HISTORY GROUP EXHIBITION
Please have a look at UP ONTHE DOWN; an exhibition assembled by the Odd Down History Group. The culmination of months of work; this is the groups's biggest project to date. The venue is the Museum of Bath at Work on Julian Road. Exhibition runs from July 23rd through to November 1. Usual charges apply; residents can use their Discovery Cards for a discount
BATHTUB ORCHESTRA
Our History Group invites you to come along to hear the BathTub Orchestra at the Odd Down AFC & Social Club at Combe Hay Lane on Tuesday 27 February, 2027 from 19:30-22:00.
The orchestra is made up of people from all walks of life playing a variety of instruments including violins, drums and "magical keyboards"! There is some talent but also plenty of enthusiam. Come along and join the fun!
PEOPLE'S CLIMATE EMERGENCY FILM
Please join the Bear Flat Association in conjunction with St. Luke's Church for a free screening of ths powerful film. The film, hosted by Enviromental Campaigner Chris Packham, features scientists and researchers who originally presented their findings to politicians and other influential people as the National Emergency Briefing. This 45 minutes film reprises that presentation interspersed with reactions from well know celebrities such as Jennifer Saunders & Deborah Meadon. The film will be screened at St. Luke's Church on Thursday, October 22nd at 7:00pm. Doors open at 6:30. Booking is essential. OCTOBER GENERAL MEETING: Please mark your diary & join the BBRA for our October General Meeting which will be held Thursday, 8 October at St. Luke's Church, Wellsway, Bath at 7:30pm We will be hosting Guy Hodgson, former Chair of Walk/Ride Bath & current Bath representative for the national "20 is Plenty" Campaign who will be in conversation with Mark Shelford, former area Ward Councillor and immediate past Police & Crime Commissioner on the question "Bath: England's First 20mph City?". Our event will be convened by Jeremy Boss, Chair, Federation of Bath Residents' Associations. This event is free of charge but must be booked in advance using the Booking Online page of this site or Eventbrite. Booking opens in September. We hope you will be able to join us!
THE HISTORY GROUP PRESENTS THE FILM "SOME PEOPLE"
Please join the Odd Down History group for a screening of the film SOME PEOPLE which features scenes of Bristol and tells a story of young bored rebels living for kicks! The film will be screen at the Odd Down AFC & Social Club on Thursday,12 November at 11:00am. The screening is free but we are encourged to support the venue with the purchase of food and drinks.

The DOTT MicroMobility Scheme, Road Design Program, Coffee with the Cops, One Amazing Neighbour page, the initiative for a pedestrian crossing at the Chelwood Kissing Gate on the Wellsway, a proposed pedestrian gate into the Green Space from Wellsway, a Zebra crossing into the Sports Ground with possible companion works in the area, pavement cycling, the status of the drains on Elm Place, the status of the Methodist Church & Hall, greening Bloomfield and the upcoming General Meeting which is open to the public.

Odd Down History Group meets at 2:00pm on the third Thursday of the month at the Odd Down Sports Ground Cafe.
Bloomfield "Coffee with the Cops": join our Police colleagues on Wednesday, September 30 from 10-11am at the Odd Down Sports Ground Cafe to discuss all your policing issues. Have a question but can't attend? Send an email with your question to bloomfieldbathra@gmail.com & we'll ask on your behalf and send you the answer!
Crafternoon: an open crafting session at the Odd Down Sports Ground the second Tuesday of the month from 2-3pm. Everyone welcome !
St Luke's Church Coffee Morning: Join your neighbours for coffee & homemade cake the first Friday of the month from 10-12p. This is not a religious service but rather warm, friendly place for the community to gather & chat. Each session will feature a different charity; a donations basket is available at the exit. The Coffee Morning volunteers are taking a well deserved month off but will resume October 2nd at 10:00am. Everyone is welcome.
Dorothy House Bereavement Help Point: a community based program where all bereaved people are welcome to come & meet and speak with others who have suffered los in an informal & supportive session. Odd Down Sprorts Ground Cafe, the first and third Monday of the month from 2-4pm.
