BBRA AGM & Programme
Please mark your diaries for our 2026 AGM which will be held Wednesday 4 March at 6:30pm at St. Luke's Church Centre Upper Hall. Following our members only meeting there will be a program entitled "The Greening of Bath" featuring Architect & Sustainablilty Campaigner Robert Delius (Sinking House /COP26 & Funeral for Nature) who will show us how other cities have creatively added trees, shrubs & vines and then reimagines Bath through a green lens. TWO FILMS: THE SACK OF BATH & THE CITY'S HIDDEN SIGHTS: Join the History Group for two talks recorded at the British Royal Literary & Scientific Institute. The Sack of Bath by Alex Sherman, CEO of Bath Preservation Trust, will discuss the disastrous 1960's City Council's decision to replace the lesser Georgian buildings in the centre with modern replacements. The second talk is entited The Secrets of Bath which will be presented by Karen Warren taken from her book by the same name. Join Karen for a virtual walk around our city exploring some of the little known features. A pair of interesting & informative talks of one hour each seperated by a refreshment break. ​

SCREENING OF 2 TALKS
Bath Between the Wars: David Williamson discusses the inter-war years; a time of great societal change and Bath at War by Stuart Burrows of the Museum of Bath at Work. The films will be screen back to back commencing at 111:00am on Thursday, February 5th at the Odd Down Football Club Cafe. There is no admission charge but purchase of refreshments is always appreciated

Updates to the DOTT MicroMobility Scheme, Road Design Program, news from the Beat Surgery, position of the new Bleed Kits along Bloomfield Road, BBRA Banner, the website & One Amazing Neighbour page, a review of the recent General Meeting, insurance requirements, general recruitment , making plans for our March General Meeting, the development of a Green Energy resource page for the website and the many recent consultations put forward by the Council recently.

Odd Down Sports Ground Cafe Coffee Morning: join us the first Tuesday of each month from 10am. Everyone is welcome to attend.
MidBloomfield Drinks Party: join us for our next event which will be held Friday, January 30th in The Bear Inn at the new time of 6:30pm.

Odd Down History Group meets at 2:00pm on the third Thursday of the month at the Odd Down Sports Ground Cafe.

Bloomfield "Coffee with a Cop" at the Odd Down Sports Ground Cafe: our next session will be 10-11am Wednesday 11 February. Join us for a chat about safety & security, local crime and all your policing issues. Everyone is welcome!

Crafternoon: an open crafting session at the Odd Down Sports Ground the second Tuesday of the month from 2-3pm. Everyone welcome !
St Luke's Church Coffee Morning: Join your neighbours for free coffee & homemade cake every third Friday from 10-12p. This is not a religious service but rather warm, friendly place for the community to gather & chat. Each session will feature a different charity; a donations basket is available at the exit. The next session will be Friday the 6th of February. Everyone is welcome!
Dorothy House Breavement Help Point: a community based program where all bereaved people are welcome to come & meet and talk with others who have suffered loss in an informal & supportive setting. Odd Down Sports Ground Cafe, the first & third Monday of the month from 2-4pm.
